Learning Tree Preschool
Join the fun in a creative and hands-on summer experience for your preschooler. This program is especially designed for both full and part-day children, 2–5 years old. We accept children who are in diapers that need to be potty trained. Paint, draw, build and pretend your way through summer in a safe environment. Our experienced trained staff promises your child a safe, happy and terrific time!Unique field trips and swim lessons combine for a great summer experience for your child.

The Preschool is located onsite at the Verdugo Hills Family YMCA, complete with play yard and a magnificent shade tree. For more information on space availability, or to make an appointment with the Site Director, please contact Verdugo Hills Family YMCA (818) 352-3255.

Summer Camp Dates:  June 21- Sept 4

Hours: Full Daycare: 7:00 am - 6:30 PM
Part Daycare: 8:00 am - 12:30 PM


Kinder Day Camp
Kinder Day Camp is specially designed to meet the needs of children entering kindergarten in the fall. Field trips, movement education, swimming, arts and crafts are a few of the many activities they will enjoy. Kindergarten readiness is the focus of every week. Kinder Day Camp will also ready your child for our day camp format.
 
Summer Camp Dates: June 21 - September 10.
Hours: 7:00 am–6:30 pm., Monday through Friday.

Orientation & BBQ:  Verdugo Hills YMCA, Wednesday, June 16, 6:30 pm

Day Camp   Grades 1 - 6
Each week a new theme is introduced with activities focused on the theme.  Arts and crafts, swimming, outdoor activities, fun field trips and museum trips are just part of the plan.
 
Day Camp Dates: June 21 - September 10.
*No camp September 6.
Hours: 7:00 am – 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Adventure Camp    Grades 7-9
Adventure Camp is an energetic, high-paced and enriching camp for the Junior High School-aged child.  The camp provides an excellent way to lifelong friendships, responsibility, trustworthiness and self-confidence.  Each week staff and youth plan the camp so each day is filled with adventure.  In Life Attitudes, teens participate in discussions and learn about topics important to their development, from nature to self-esteem.  Our staff is committed to safety and education and focused on marking camp a memorable experience in the camper’s life.

Summer Camp Dates: June 21 - September 3.
Hours: 7:00 am to 6:30 pm.
